I’ve been sent these lovely photos of Nelly and Nora, the Jack Russell wedding guests!

I created mini replicas of them in clay as they were ordered for the wedding cake, here is a photo of them with the cake, including some little sheep! (sheep aren’t by me) I love the silver wedding cake with the tree ring cake base, it looks a really natural wedding theme.

I have been looking through old photos of wedding toppers today and thought I’d share a few of the Christmas themed cake toppers. I love Christmas ……maybe a little bit too much! It is my favourite time of year and it must be so exciting to plan a wedding at the time of year that is already full of sparkle and glitter. I love the Christmas wedding themes that have been added to cake toppers over the years, snow, snowball fight, little footprints in the snow, robins, Santa hats glitter and more.

I love the use of flowers on wedding cakes, I think it gives a really elegant look.

This is a photo of a cake topper sent to me from a happy customer, showing a topper and flowers on the cake.

It is a fireman cake topper on a tired cake with the flowers wrapped around, I think it looks beautiful.

Just an update to say now fully booked until October, it is really exciting that the toppers are so popular and I look forward to making each one.

There have been a few requests for Gretna Green cake toppers this year.

‘Thank you so much for our beautiful cake topper of Gretna Green sign and the anvil. It went on top of our cake along with a Christmas spray and we had been married several days earlier and everyone thought they were coming to a pre-Christmas party!
It will now be a perfect keepsake of our special day.’

Well it has been an amazing year of toppers, a huge range of designs. Planes, llamas, uniforms, pets the list goes on. One thing for sure is it is never dull ; )

I have been sent some beautiful topper photos from customers this year and this is one of the most recent, there are more to see on the toppers on cakes page. It is always really appreciated when customers take the time to send photos to me, it is great to see them on the cake.

Well the new years resolution to blog alot more has failed, and time has flown by this year.
So here is a very quick attempt at an update just to say bookings have taken me by surprise this year and are already coming in fast for 2014 so if you are thinking about a cake topper I would advise booking before the start of 2014.
